Final Research Writeup

This artifact is the research paper written throughout the semester and underwent various changes due to unforeseen events or its planning not going as planned. The Final Research Writeup is the combination of all the learning outcomes which include: Revision, Generating Inquiry,  Information Literacy, Research Genre Production, Multiple ways of Writing,  and Contributing Knowledge.  This article is a great example of Contributing Knowledge because it draws a conclusion based on the analysis and interpretation of primary data and the synthesis of other source materials. This can be seen in the introduction portion of the research paper above. The artifact is also a great example of taking the feedback given throughout the semester and creating a newly improved Research paper due to multiple revision sessions as seen in comparison to the introduction and annotated Bibliography on the left side above. Contributing knowledge is also seen in this paper because it demonstrated my "ability to navigate choices and constraints in a variety of public and/or academic research genres that matter to specific communities." In this case it involved various secondary source with a focus on audience members knowledge making based on Disney film. in addition to the viewing of two Hispanic/Latino film as a primary source which involved a interpretation and analysis of character attire combined with setting/ plot lines.
